Swatch – Push the Button of Fun

Thursday night I grabbed my fash crew and headed to the Future Gallery in Covent Garden so we could all spend the evening pushing the button of fun.  Swatch were launching their new Chrono Plastic Watch collection.
With a tiki bar theme, the gallery was transformed with surf shacks, surf boards, cocktails in coconut cups and watermelon canapés.  The beach theme was apt; with the new collection presenting a bigger, brighter summer feel than those of the past.  The watches were displayed inside the shacks, whilst a large projector kept us entertained with sporting activities, all showcasing the wicked ways a Swatch can be worn.

With Radio 1 DJ star Gemma Cairney on the decks, we drank champagne and partied the night away.  I was with my usual lot: ‘Dirty Sexy Things’ TV stars (and hot models, lush lads and best mates) Bebe Kaye, Jay Camilleri and of course my publicist Karena Sedgwick, who has a close relationship with Swatch when they sent her off to the MTV Awards last year!  I bumped into so many familiar faces, including Russell Kane, Prince Cassius, Mason Smillie, Made in Chelsea’s gorgeous Cheska and of course the legend that is Stephen Mahoney, who attended my LFW Opening bash back in February.

We all had a wicked night (including squeezing all six of us into a tiny photo booth, queue ‘wind’ button for maximum effect), and each left with a Swatch from the new collection – mine being the black chrono with hint of fuchsia.  It’s hot.

Here are my snaps from the event:

We went into the booth, and we pushed the button of fun:
