I'm yet to experience a chemical peel facial, so when I received a gift package from Bravura London for a home chemical peel kit, I wasn't sure whether I was concerned or excited! I've got a full kit of instructions and products needed to carry out the peel, so I've been doing my research before I dive right in.
They've sent me First Cleanse Oil, Revitalising Ginseng Toner and Glycolic Acid 10%, along with an application brush and an adorable bag, for you know, funsies. The good stuff here is the Glycolic Acid, which is known as the 'chemical peel' or 'lunchtime peel'. Used 3-4 times a week, it aims to fade hyperpigmentation from sun damage or acne, reduces the appearance of fine lines, exfoliates dry skin and reduces acne breakouts. That's a lot of benefits from one product!
I'll do a full review once I've worked up the courage to start the process - my skin is actually in pretty decent condition and I've never suffered from acne, but I'm intrigued about the product and I want to give it a go, so now it's landed on my lap I might as well. Stay tuned!
